Jonathan Davis of Korn working on a solo project

The rumors are flying concerning Jonathan Davis these days, both Allstar news and Metal Edge magazine have stories stating that the Korn front man has been in the studio working on solo material.

The speculation thus far is that Jonathon is working on his first solo album with the aid of Amir Derakh of Orgy. The official line given by Korn is that yes Jonathon is in the studio, but there are no plans for a formal release. The other possibility raised is that Jonathon is collaborating with Amir for a forth coming Orgy release on Korn's record label.

Korn fans have something to look forward to in 1999. The band has made plans to release a live album and video from material from last years family values tour.
