Take a quick moment to see your surroundings. Now, imagine them turned to rubble by a nuclear blast, and after that, then paint black. This is Hemlock's Bleed the Dream. I felt throughout the album that the music could only be darker and deeper if they were simply unheard due to being below the hearing frequency; the kind of sounds that cause bowels to erupt or mountains to fracture---Earthtones if you wish. Lyrically, I felt the album to be outright amazing. Spouts of self destruction and political jabs pull this album together creating a mass of great metal. In this quickie of a review, I would recommend this album to anyone who is a fan of non-metalcore and is in need of some good, oldschool metal. Track Listing:
