I Am Gambit
with Mike Rapin

When the rantings and ravings of Mike Rapin fill up among his small group of listeners, he turns to the digital pen and paper. Expect nothing less than irrational cries about meaningless anythings and possibly a logical idea here or there, but nonetheless hilarious (for those with a real sense of humor).

If you are under 18 or are easily offended, stop reading now!

A Random Stream of Rapin

One more before exams I think...

Given the enormous amount of stress I have had in the last week, I think that I shall speak to you, my children, in a time of utmost boredom. Yes, boredom.

The monotonous feel of college hast started to get to me, but without it I wouldn't be stressed... a crude twist of fate, yes? No, probably not. It is what is expected. The strange part is that I have only been feeling the stress the last 2 days. Heartburn, tension headaches, neck aches, the works. But the boredom is what gets me. Perhaps it's the severe dullness of my job on campus, per maybe my daily routine which ends in me watching 3-5 episodes of Scrubs every night with a buddy of mine. I don't know really what to say here other than I want to hurt someone or cause some irrational thing to happen to clear my head of this rock solid boredom I have.

Thank God* for music though. Really, the last three weeks has consisted of me blaring The Acacia Strain, Norma Jean, NOFX, and the soundtrack to The Rocky Horror Picture Show into my skull. I don't know what I would do without my trusty iPod and/or music library. It's always fun to yell "I'll see you at the bottom of the barrel" or "Blowjobs, rim, and sucking c**k. You're getting laid while you're getting laid off!" in your dorm.

I'll keep this going with other mentionables such as how I am starting to delve into the world known as podcasting. Thanks to two guys I know (plug: http://www.pinkparachutes.com ) I've come to like the internet more and more. And lets not forget that damn addicting website known as Twitter (http://www.twitter.com) and it's awesome Mac plug-ins and add-ons.

One more thing: Guitar Hero and Guitar Hero II are effing amazing and almost too fun.

Man-o-man I am tired as hell... don't forget to check out http://www.mikerapin.com/ .
