Brian Kent - Breathe Life Review

.
When it comes to performing and show business, hie's done it all. Los Angeles native Brian Kent has been singing since he was a child but, he began his foray into the lime light in the sports world as a figure skater. In fact, when the music bug bit Brain was readying himself for the nation figure skating championships.

Brian's musical talents have taken him to everything from performing in his birthday suit with Naked Boys Singing to Cruise ship tours to the strip in Las Vegas including the new MGM Grand.

Brian now makes his home in New York City where he is finding success as a recording artist. Brian debuted his then new single "I'm Not Crazy" to enthusiastic fans at the prestigious New York City club Splash. The video went on the score the number one spot on the MTV network LOGO's video countdown show "The Click List" for 15 weeks.

Earlier this year Brian Kent released his first full length album "Breathe Life". The album contains eleven tracks plus a bonus track. Many of the songs found on the album are high energy dance tunes. In the hands of Brian Kent disco is not dead only transformed into songs ready to rock any dance club. Among the songs found on "Breathe Life" is a beautifully crafted lyrical piece titled "Everything Changes", a dance mix version of the Journey hit "Don't Stop Believin'", and two songs that will be featured in the upcoming Tori Spelling movie "Kiss the Bride" due to open early next year. The Bonus track on "Breathe Life" is a dance mix version of the ballad "Everything Changes".

In an age of lip syncing and electronic manipulation Brian Kent is authentic and the ral deal. Whether it be a live show or an album Brian shows his true self – the only way he knows to be happy. When performing a live show the band music and background singers may be recorded but Brian sings live with no lip syncing what-so-ever. In a conversation Brian said that he wants his live shows to reflect the album and vice versa.

Fans of music from George Michael to Take That will want to hear what Brian Kent has to offer. Brian may not have a distinctive voice like the raspy sound of Rod Stewart, but his voice is pleasant and one that is both recognizable and unforgettable.

"Breathe Life" is a breath of fresh air of today's musical offerings.
