This group is basically Yes without bassist Chris Squire and here they perform selections that primarily come from the early Yes catalog. The prog-rockers get the solos out of the way at the beginning of the show starting with an acoustic medley of "Time and a Word," "Teakbois" and "Owner of a Lonely Heart" from Jon Anderson, singing as he leisurely strolls through the crowd, pressing the flesh as he makes his way to the stage. Howe plays an acoustic guitar solo of "The Clap" and "Mood for a Day" followed by Wakeman's turn at "Gone But Not Forgotten," "Catherine Parr" and "Merlin the Magician." Bruford then ambles onto the stage and the whole band launches into "Long Distance Runaround." Just when you think that Bruford's solo is being saved for later in the show the skins man diverts "Runaround" with a very impressive workout on an array of electronic drums. Except for one acoustic drum Bruford uses the drum pads exclusively for the entire show, aided by a couple of gongs and plenty of cymbals. His playing is impeccable and intense but once the solo is over the show turns away from individual talents and emphasizes group effort on the Yes chestnuts "And You and I," "I've Seen All Good People," "Close to the Edge" and "Heart of the Sunrise." This concert was shot in 1989 as ABWH toured behind their only album and several songs from that release are performed including "Brother of Mine," "Birthright" and "The Meeting." The show wraps up with "Roundabout" and "Starship Trooper."
