Matchbox 20 to go on Hiatus.

Taking a page from the Alanis Morissette play book, Matchbox 20 plans to wait a while before putting out a follow up to it's multi platinum debut.

The band has planned this Hiatus out of fears of becoming over saturated. They do not want to fall into the trap of people getting sick of hearing their music because of over exposure.

There is no word on when the next record will be released. You can be sure  by the time the record hits the shelves the fans will be primed and ready for some more Matchbox 20 music.
