    Funk Superstar Rick James is recovering from a stroke
     

    Funk Superstar Rick James is recovering from a stroke brought on from a broken blood vessel in his neck. According to reports James suffered what is termed Rock n' Roll neck a condition that occurs as a result of years of strenuous neck movements. 

    James started complaining about pain after a concert in Denver on Friday Nov. 6th. The following Monday he was taken to Cedars Sinai medical center to under go treatment.  James was to go into surgery on the the next day but his doctors decided a strong regiment of medication would be a better treatment. 

    Mr. James is unable to walk as a result of the stroke, and is expected to under go a lengthy rehabilitation process.
