Johnny Rotten Goes Hollywood
The Hollywood Reporter, reports
that Sex Pistols
Johnny Rotten, who went on to lead the band Public Image Ltd., Is
majorly envolved in the the making of a film based on his autobiography
"Rotten: No Irish, No Blacks, No Dogs."
Rotten will supervise the production
of this film, from the script development, choosing a cast, and a director.
This film which has recieved alot of attention, will be based
on the Sex pistols in the 70's as well as the punk culture of the time.
So far 5 million has been invested
for production of this film by Panacea Entertainment and Rhino Films. The
producers are seeking distribution agreements at this point, and hope to
engage a foreign distributor at the Cannes Film Festival this year.
