Julian Lennon returns with Photograph Smile and offers the first single free.

After taking a few years off from the music business Julian Lennon returns with Photograph smile.

After being disillusioned with the "Music Industry" Julian called it quits in the late 80's to pursue other interest.

This time around he is the one calling the shots. He maintained total control over Photograph smile. He fronted the money for the record and has offered its release under an indy label. No longer held back by major label marketing execs telling him how to write his music, Julian has produced a record he can be proud of.

No longer trying to shed the legacy of his late father Julian embraced his heritage on tracks like Day After Day . He also recently appeared on David Letterman sporting a T-shirt proclaiming "Lennon and Proud of it".

On the other hand while his father and his Beatle counterparts have an obvious influence on Julian, his music reflects his own style. He did not set out to fill a void left by his fathers death. Lennon or not the music stands on its own. Julian has come into his own.

Fans can get the albums first single Day After Day in MP3 format for free from  the Fuel200 website.

Rock n World has also named Julian Artist of the Month for March.
