Metallica - Ted Nugent take on Y2K

While the wealthiest rock fans who can afford the  $1,500 tickets will flock to Las Vegas for the  Eagles  new years eve bash , across the country in Detroit fans will get a special Y2K treat from Gonzo and Metallica.

The long rumored new years show at Detroit's Silver Dome is now a fact. Ted Nugent will play his home turf with the aid of Metallica.

Metallica's bassist Jason Newsted is especially excited to be playing in Detroit, he hails from Michigan, and will get to play with one of his home state heros.

The only real question remaining is who will be louder?

Other acts are expected to be added to the show, Tickets will be on sale Oct. 23rd.
