Rock News: Lit Tripping the Light Fantastic again!
Allstar news reports the Lit fans will get the opportunity to buy the bands debut soon.

The band is forming their own label to distribute their debut album. Living up to their 50's image the band has dubbed the new label, Dirty Martini.

The debut,  Tripping the Light Fantastic, was originally release by indy label Malicious Vinyl in 1997. Lit managed to obtain all the rights to the album earlier this year, just prior to the release of their RCA hit "A Place in the Sun". Since the album is no longer being distributed by under the original label, this announcement should be exciting for fans who have been unable to obtain Lit's debut.

According to the allstar report the band will also look to sign new bands to the label as well. It is very possible that Dirty Martini will be distributed by the bands current label RCA.

For those who have not heard the debut, be prepared it is a much heavier album than "A Place in the Sun". While band has made a name for themselves this past year with their alterna-pop sound, the bands debut shows a much heavier metal driven side of the band. We here at Rock n World love the debut album, it led us to name Lit artist of the Month last year when they were still just local superstars. Well now thanks to the band and their new label, the world will soon discover the sound that blew us away, and landed this band its well earned contract with RCA.

Can't wait for the album release? We have two full tracks in real audio from Tripping the Light Fantastic for your listening pleasure.
