musicNEWS: Vince Neil Sues His Lawyers
02-02-02 antiGUY

Motley Crue front man Vince Neil filed a lawsuit on Dec 15th against his former law firm Jeffer, Mangels, Butler & Mamaro LLP claiming professional negligence.

Neil hired the firm to handle his personal bankruptcy in 1997. Neil claims that several of the documents filed by the law firm in the case were not correct, which led him to make misleading statements in his testimony before his creditors.

Due to the misleading statements, Neil was sued by a third- party creditor. This led to Neil having to pay a large settlement with the the court trustee, he claims he would not have been liable for if the paper work had been properly submitted by the law firm.
