musicNEWS: 311 recording new album and a cover of Bad Brains Leaving Babylon.

311 took a break while working on their next studio album to record a cover of Bad Brains "Leaving Babylon". 

The cover is to be featured in a tribute album for the legendary band who skillfully mixed Punk and Reggae.

Other artist expected to contribute to  the album are the Deftones, Moby, and Zack de la Roche of Rage Against the Machine fame. 

Now about the new studio album. The band is reported to have 10 in the works, which will be more progressive rock direction. Expect the new album sometime in 1999.
