musicNEWS: Ozzy Lights up the Town - Pisses off Neighbors
02-02-02 antiGUY

The Godfather of Heavy Metal has found controversy again. This time due to a new hobby of the 50 year old rocker.

Ozzy has taken up midnight gardening at his home in Buckinghamshire England. The controversy comes from the fact that Ozzy has erected 17 high powered lights on his estate to aid in his night gardening.

Neighbors are outraged, claiming that the lights ruin the night sky, and the town council says Ozzy lacks a permit for the lights.

Ozzy on the other hand claims he needs the lights for security and gardening. The case will be settled in January when Ozzy will appear before a planning council in hopes of keeping the lights intact.

The outcome looks grim for Ozzy, other rock stars in the area have been barred from using similar lights, including Baby Spice, and Noel Gallagher of Oasis.
