Rock News: Robin Fink bails out of GNR to rejoin NIN
That's right ,Robin Fink is leaving Guns n Roses to rejoin Nine Inch Nails. There is a lot of speculation going on about why he left, and if Slash will return.  The fact is that his contract with GNR ended on August 1st. The speculation is he hated the bands schedule of recording in the wee hours of the morning, or he was tired of waiting for an album to be released. He recorded several songs with GNR over the past two years, Axl is at this point laying down the vocals tracks. There is still no release date for the new GNR album.

Fact two, it is confirmed that Robin has rejoined NIN for a scheduled tour. But nothing is certain beyond that point.

Who will replace Robin in GNR? Will Slash return? Will Robin become a permanent member of NIN? When will the new GNR album be out? No one knows the answers to these questions, but we will keep our ears open and report on this continuing story as it develops.
