New Guns n Roses album near completion, while band may perform at Woodstock.
E! online reports that W. Axl Rose is near completion of the newest Guns n Roses album.  GNR fans have been anticipating new material from the band since the early 90's.

Rose is the only remaining member from the bands heyday, other members Slash, Duff, and Izzy have gone off to work on other projects.

Also reported Guns n Roses is anticipated to sign up to play at this summers Woodstock festival. Although other reports say that GNR will not be performing. Other bands rumored to be near signing are Metallica, Korn, Sugar Ray, Aerosmith,  Counting Crows,  Bush, Hole, Alanis Morissette, Willie Nelson,  and Ice Cube.

Festival organizers are said to be releasing a formal lineup on April 8th. So we will all know if GNR will be on the bill then.

The festival will take place on July 23-25  in Rome, New York. Ticket prices are expected to reach $150 for passes for the full weekend. We will know more when tickets go on sale later this month.
