Rock News: Sevendust Teams up with Creed
for Scream 3 Soundtrack
Creed has been hard at work as the Executive
Producers for the soundtrack to the upcoming Scream 3. They have asked
Sevendust to contribute to the disc. No word yet whether Sevendust will
write new music for the project or offer up a b-side or album track.
Creed will contribute two songs to the
soundtrack which should hit the stores in December. "What if" from their
current chart topping Human Clay album plus a song going back to the bands
previous album My Own Prison, "Is this the End?". The second track never
made it onto the My Own Prison album.
No other artist have been confirmed for
the project at this time.
In other news, you just might be at the
show that will be featured in Creed's live album. The band has been taping
all of their shows on their current tour for a possible live record. No
firm plans have been set for the live record. Then again, the band says
they may just record an acoustic album instead. Fan hope for both.
