It's a sign of things to come. Elektra records
has taken the bold first step. They will be releasing the new Metallica
CD, "S&M" online before it hits the stores. Fans will be able to surf
to Metallica.com, Elektra's web site and a number of other sites starting
Nov. 19th and hear the entire new album in streaming audio.
There will be no restrictions, you can
even spend between Nov. 19th and the albums release date of Nov.
23rd logged on listening the album over and over.
Also, to celebrate the release Metallica
will be playing a special show at the Madison Square Garden in New York
with the Orchestra of St. Luke's on Nov. 23rd.
