Rock News: Sir Mick Jagger?
The British crown has spent the last quarter century handing out titles to anyone in the entertainment business who generates lots of tax revenue. Ok, it's not quite that bad, but when we saw that Mick Jagger wasn't to be knighted like Paul McCartney and Elton John, we collectively scratched our heads in wonderment.

According the the London Times, Mr. Jagger will not become Sir Jagger as was expected this year. Why not you ask? The Times puts British Prime Minister, Tony Blair, at the head of the controversy. It is suspected that Mr. Blair does not think Mr. Jagger exemplifies Family Values. In response to the report, the Prime Ministers talking heads quickly denied that they were blocking Mr. Jagger from becoming Sir Jagger.

It appears Mick should have put on a dress like Elton John, then Tony Blair would have had no problems with his family values. We here at Rocknworld.com hope that the crown will come to it's senses and award Mick his Knighthood. Then again, we are hoping for Ozzy Osbourne to receive the same honor. Sir Ozzy? Has a nice ring to it don't you think.
