Rock News: AC/DC to give fans "Stiff Upper Lip"
Are you among those who have been waiting patiently for some new tunes from AC/DC? If you are then you are in luck. It looks like your wish will be granted this spring.

AC/DC's latest effort tentatively titled "Stiff Upper Lip" is scheduled to be released on Feb. 29th in the U.S.

Keep in mind that the album title and release date are not a sure thing. But Elektra records has placed Feb. 29th as a projected release date. Rumors around the web had the date as March 21st, so it looks like we might get some new tunes sooner than expected.

The band has recorded 17 songs for the album, however only 12 are expected to make the final release.

We reported last year that the band planned on returning to their bluesy roots for this album. No word as yet, if they have stuck to these plans. Regardless of the musical direction of the disc fans are sure to buy it up after waiting five years to hear from their heavy metal heroes.
