Rock News: Tina Turner plans farewell tour.
1-31-00 8:00AM
You can't get much closer to Royalty in Rock n Roll than legendary vocalist Tina Turner. She's had a remarkable career which sadly will partially be coming to an end soon.

This news is a double-edge sword. First the good news, Tina will be launching her first tour since 1997 starting March 23rd in Minneapolis. The bad news, this is reported to be her final tour.

The tour is being dubbed the "Twenty Four Seven Tour" named after her forthcoming album release from Virgin Records. This tour will take Tina to 50 North American cities between March and June before she heads to Europe for her final European Tour.

Tina will however, continue to record new music after these tours, but she will no longer go on the road to support her albums.

Tickets start going on sale the first week of Feb. for selected dates, and Tina's new album "Twenty Four Seven" will be in stores tomorrow Feb. 1st.

Tour Dates were not available at Press Time
