Pete Yorn – Nightcrawler Review

by Eric Bodrero

.
Nightcrawler continues Yorn's unyielding knack for songwriting, with more mature lyrics and a little more emotion behind them. His vocal style mimics that of Elliot Smith, soft, delicate, and restrained one minute and howling the next. Every song you hear from Yorn, even for the first time, sounds strangely familiar, like you heard it on a soundtrack ten years ago. Anyway, fans of Yorn won't be disappointed, and Nightcrawler has undoubtedly garnered a whole new gaggle of fans.
