Massive Attack Collected is just that: a collection of all their fan favorites, hits, singles, and a DVD to boot. Everything from hit TV Show favorites like "Teardrop" to more obscure offerings, everything a Massive Attack fan-and just fans of great electronic/alternative music-could want. This comes in at least a couple of different versions; the import, which is in digipak form with two CD's and a DVD, and a regular jewel case form. The import sports two separate sleeves, one in front and one in back (these are dual discs), and a very nice inbound color booklet of rare and never-before-seen photos of album covers and other miscellaneous pics. The music itself really needs know explanation. It's solid songwriting and electronic compositions speak for themselves, and I think by now everyone has heard of Massive Attack. If not, go watch the intro to those episodes of "House" you have stored on your Tivo. All in all, a great treat for completists and fans, and anyone who loves soft, subtle, smooth electronic music dubbed "cool" by most everyone.
