Jason and deMarco - Till the End of Time Review

by Sherrill Fulghum

.

At one time in his career Jason Warner was being groomed to be THE next male Contemporary Christian sensation. Then deciding to be himself and stop hiding Jason came out. The Christian music world turned their backs on Jason; but Jason didn't turn his back on the music. With the support of affirming churches and the gay community Jason brought his music out as well. DeMarco became Jason's partner in life and in music and the duo continued to share their love of God and music. In 2004 Jason and deMarco released "Spirit Pop" an album of contemporary and spiritual pop songs. Now with their new release "Till the End of Time" the crossover is complete. The pop/rock album contains 12 songs on the emotions and relationships of real life. In the words of Jason and deMarco – songs that are true to what real life is like.

The opening measures of the first song give some indication of what's in store for the listener on the album. The rock riffs of the opening sounds like the background for a storm scene. While there are some beautiful melodies on the album, Jason and deMarco ulilise the sounds of rock and electric guitars on "Till the End of Time"

Jason and deMarco's voices are a perfect match for each other and blend flawlessly together. The duo makes use of this blending to create some incredible and impressive harmonies.

"Till the End of Time" is different in other ways too. Unlike most albums where the thank yous are listed at the end of the liner notes, Jason and deMarco start out the liner notes by expressing their thanks.

"Till the End of Time" is an enhanced CD. It includes a CD ROM which gives a behind the scenes look at making the album and some bloopers and bad notes during recording.

"Till the End of Time" by Jason and deMarco may be a departure from what fans have heard in the past, but it is one well worth the listen. A must have for Jason and deMarco fans and fans of pop/rock music everywhere. Go to www.jasonanddemarco.com for more information on where to purchase a copy of "Till the End of Time".
