Driveblind Review

by Patrick Muldowney

.
So we're back to Geffen Records, and this is not your older brother's DGC. As your older brother, I can remember clamoring for the latest DGC sampler, because it had all the great Alternative bands, but with the return to the old name comes the return to the old mindless music from the vinyl days. Driveblind may have traveled from Scotland to LA just in time to deliver the biggest stinker of 2006. Sounding like The Black Crowes if both Robinsons were fired, and the remaining members joined up with Clive Davis, this is Hoobastank if Hooba stank like a decomposing trailer. Strictly for serious mullet wearers or Aqua Net users, Driveblind is stone washed.

Tracks added to Ipod: NADA
