Ari Hest - The Green Room Sessions Review

.
The five song EP "The Green Room Sessions" by New York City native Ari Hest is appropriately named since Hest recorded the album in a green room in his New York apartment using his computer.

The EP is a teaser of sorts for a full length album that is scheduled to be released later this year.

Hest's voice is slightly raspy and draws you in so that you forget about everything else; a voice you can get lost in.

Among the five songs are two original tunes which will also appear on the new album, a stripped down acoustic version of the Fleetwood Mac hit "Little Lies", and a opening track "Pastime" the sticks in your head and won't let go.

"The Green Room Sessions" by Ari Hest is one of those albums that grows on you – once is not enough with this one.
