Andy Werth - Back to the Sun EP Review

.
I just caught a glimpse of some writer who called Andy Werth "ballsy", but I consider that writer to be "ballsy" one for using such a word to describe Mr. Werth. I'm thinking more Partridge Family than "ballsy". You know, let's all smile and get groovy while the redhead in the back pretending to play bass gets schnockered. What's extremely annoying is how Andy Werth's piano and trumpet (which he loves to use on every song) make even the worst lyrics sound like sunshine. "Caught a Greyhound to New York" begins by talking about suicide and theft, but he might as well be talking about lollipops and rainbows because of the upbeat accompaniment of the keys. Andy Werth would have a great future as a cult leader. Maybe we're witnessing the beginning of the Back to the Sun coalition. Personally, I'm not up for coercive persuasion.
