A Shoreline Dream – Avoiding the Consequences Review

by Eric Bodrero

.
I was a shoegazer fan and didn't even know it. I remember watching music videos on MTV's 120 minutes back in the 80's and early 90's, and they would play this band called Slowdive all the time. I loved that style of music. There was something captivating and engrossing about it. I could just lie there all day and be caught up in the faraway musicscapes that it offered. I'm glad to know that bands still have the quality to fascinate and hypnotize, like A Shoreline Dream. With ethereal and dreamy vocals, wispy, washed out guitars, and a slow but steady beat, A Shoreline Dream certainly delivers on all those characteristics. Moody, almost gothic in nature, A Shoreline Dream will appeal to all those who love the shoegazer scene.
