SOS - A Guide to Better Living Review
By Morley Seaver

.
I hate to say anything negative about bands I don't like, especially since there are probably millions of people out there that have a differing opinion. Suffice to say, I cannot get excited about this record at all. This New York band's new release is about as average fare as you can get. It's a combination of rock with a bit of punk fringes. The singer is very average and most of the songs are as forgettable as…..oh, I forget. Only a couple of songs stand out from the others. "Venice" starts off with a long instrumental intro and a great accordion segment before coming with punk fury. "Killing Time" is a beautiful guitar instrumental. Aside from that, I can't find much to endorse. It's not a bad record, but not a real good one either.
