Roger Sanchez - Come With Me Review

by Sherrill Fulghum

.
Sanchez began DJing at age 13 and is now a world renound DJ and mixer Sanchez shows off his expertise as a mixer by combining sound effects and voices (singing and talking) with traditional and electronic instruments to create the 11 songs on the album. Born to Dominican parents his Latin roots shine through on many of the album's rhythm tracks and the last song on the album - a slow piece called "Soledad".

While some of the songs are about love, Sanchez has a little fun with the old saying of just when you think it can't get worse…it does phrase with his song "Again".

Come With Me by Roger Sanchez is not an album for popping into the player and sitting back to relax. However; coming out just in time for the season, it is a great album for getting things going at that next summer block or dance party.
