Open Season Soundtrack Featuring Paul Westerberg Review

by James Rodd

.
This was actually a pretty enjoyable soundtrack. The movie was cute, had to see it with my mini-me's.

Of course, there are the staple classics like the Talking Heads, "Wild, Wild Life", or the two Deathray tracks that make it worth the listen. But of equal mention are the Paul Westerberg originals that truly describe and accent the movie itself. My personal favorite of them being, "right to arm bears", which is a pretty hysterical take on hunting. Wouldn't it be funnier if the animals fought back? For those of us watching from the sidelines anyway.

I enjoyed this album. 4 out of 5 stars.
