Nickelback - All The Right Reasons Review
By Charlotte Hannon

.
Three words "buy this album" just didn't seem like a long enough review so I held on to this album for a little while and listened to it over and over again just in case I found something to nitpick. From the first listen I had my personal favorites, songs that jumped out at me for one reason or another, but what I found over the course of a week was less of a reason to nitpick and a growing list of favorites.

Simply put, All The Right Reasons, Nickelback's follow-up to their very successful 2003 release The Long Road, contains all the right reasons for buying a Nickelback album; catchy hooks, solid riffs, interesting lyrics, impressive delivery. Frontman Chad Kroeger has a talent coupled with intelligence for writing radio friendly without being trite rock songs. Topics cover the usual rock oriented material, all the emotions, good, bad, or twisted, associated with love and life but it's the Nickelback delivery that makes them stick. "Photograph" is the most infectious of the bunch, but watch out because they're all catching. Personal favorite, the ballad "If Everyone Cared", closely followed by "Side Of A Bullet", tribute to Pantera guitarist "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott, killed onstage last year. For a more serious groove check out "Fight for All the Wrong Reasons". Nickelback have been delivering solid rock for nine years now and it's good to know that's not about to change anytime soon. In summary to get back to what I was originally saying: buy this album!
