Model One - Rooms EP Review

by Sherrill Fulghum

"Rooms" is a 20 minute six song EP of original material from the Chicago quartet Model One. The four lads each bring his own musical tastes and background to the band. The members of Model One have been playing music most of their lives and that experience comes through on "Rooms". The songs are not just typical rock, they are a melodic rock with more than just three chord guitar parts. The pleasing vocals and melodic tunes make for a good listen of "Rooms". The EP leaves you wanting for more. Six songs isn't enough to get a fill of Model One. [editor's note: Rooms is 2nd of 4 EPs set to come out in 2006. See the official website link for more info]
