Erin Boheme - What Love Is Review

by Sherrill Fulgum

.
This female answer to Michael Buble' has a voice far beyond her 18 years. What Love Is by Erin Boheme is her debut album with Concord and has 11 tracks of the old style jazz standards. Her original song "A Night with Frank" is a tribute to Ole Blue Eyes himself and includes lines from several of Sinatra's songs. Because the Oshkosh, Wisconsin native does not fit into the "cookie cutter" mold of top 40 music today; unfortunately the mainstream music world will miss out on this musical treasure. A great album for listening and relaxing. All that's missing is the fire burning in the fireplace.

A voice that transcends the ages this is a must have for any fan of the old standards or great female vocals.
