even compare anything that they have done before. It's not that I'm a diehard
axl fan or a diehard slash fan...i'm just a gnr fan. axl and slash are
both kick ass awesome together but guns will never be the same w/o slasher!

Ian: Bottom line is AXL and Slash were "GNR".
Without them both in the band then it just ain't the same. Sure the other
members seemed like family to us huge GNR Fans but AXL and Slash were the
epitome of GNR. To myself and many other fans as of right now there is
no Guns N Roses. The band is dead even though AXL is trying to make it
work. He should have changed the name.

When people think of November Rain, thought doesnt usually come to the
3 some guitar solos in it. The Solos are nice, but what Axl did with the
other parts is fantastic And Axl was unique. No one will be able to put

the best in it.I,m going crazy while his solos. But with all the respect
to him Axl is f*ckin better .Here almost everybody talking sh*t about Axl,
but he is much more talanted then Slash . Don,t forget ,he was the voice
of the gn'r, he wrote a music , he wrote all the words-- he is a genius
and his voice is something special ,he made gn's special, of course Slash
had a big part in GN's ,BUT AXL WAS AND IS THE FACE OF GUNSES , NO MATTER

Difference between the 2 is Axls relying on the old G-n-R fame to sell
records and singing the old classics in conert to keep the fans attention
where as Slash is playing under a new name and tunes and trying to move
forward and not relying on the past. Neither one wll beat G-n-R of old
for Slash was the sound and Axl was the vocals.

Shaun Avramov: I've seen Slash's Snakepit perform this
past Feb.. and I've seen Guns first performance on New Years in Vegas.
I felt pretty much neutral between the two, but after seeing the two performances,
it is more than obvious that Slash made the style and is the firehouse
with those amazing solos. It seemed like all the solos that the new guy
tried to pull off were decent, but again.. it's not SLASH... check him
out for yourself.. you'll see..

me: the only flaw I see with Slash is Snakepit
isn't as big as G&R yet! But he really can't help that can he? I got
to meet him after a show a few months back and he is one of the nicest
guys you will ever meet, unlike AXL who has a major ego and is a jerk.

Mike: I saw Slash's Snakepit with AC/DC last
summer and thought they were great Rod is the perfect frontman. Then a
couple days later I saw a review of the same show in the paper and the
jerkoff writer was talking all kinds of trash about how Rod wasn't Axl,
no shyt he is not Axl and thank God this is Slash's band not Guns n roses
and I think in a lot of ways Snakepit is better.
