Jealous Haters Since 1998!

The year 2000 promises to be a great time for those of us who hang in the Rock N World.  We will visit with some old friends who are still out on the road and meet a few new ones.   I also have some ideas for a lot of other fun stuff in the Back Stage Pass area.   Thank you all for being my travel companions on the wild ride that was 1999.  Don't unpack your suit case yet though.  The 2000 tour bus is leaving the station and I intend to be on it.  Are you coming along?

Reader Feedback:
Your feed back is important to me in designing my musical home here at Rock N World.  I want to know what touring bands you want to hear about, what types of things you want to know about your favorite musicians (keep it clean - you little nasties!) and what kind of things about the music business interest you.    In other words, you read the map, I'll drive!  Deal?

To Whoever said there needs to be more Korn, LimpBizkit, or Slipknot: Go to hell! Learn what real music sounds like. The only respectable of those three bands is LB, but thats just because they did a really awesome cover of Faith.

Hi Debbi, I `d like to hear everything about the glam-rock reunion touring in 2000: Poison + Dokken+Slaughter+Cinderella!!! This would become a real highlight of the year. But I sad about only performing in the U.S. I would like to see them in Germany!!!

Rick
I agree with Devon. How about you ply your trade and give us a piece on Ben Folds Five?

Devon
I just feel like adding my two cents about what I thought was the best show of 1999... Ben Folds Five. I saw them back in October, and they played like there was no tomorrow.. even though I heard that Darren had the flu at the time. Anyway, they rocked. That's about all I wanted to say.

WILLIE ROCKWELL
EMINEM WON 2 GRAMMY'S AND ALSO IS GONNA TEAR IT UP IN 2000 WITH THE MARSHALL MATHER LP.......INLCUDE JOINTS WITH CANIBUS AND STICKYFINGAZ.......EMINEM YOU THE BEST SON ! ONE LUV

Ted Nugent,Zakk Wylde, and Franky Hannon. Please keep up with these three musicians. Nugent is incredible, 51 years young and still blowin' the roof off every venue he play's. must be all the wild game he eats? ask'em. Zakk,he's a freakin guitar maniac, the best there is. I hear he's working on a follow up cd right now to BLS. If you haven't seen Zakk live you're missin' out. Frank{TESLA}Hannon, also rockin' axe for upstart Sacramento based Moon Dog Mane, is the most talented, likeable and easy going rocknroller out there right now. I've had the priveledge of seeing Franky several times over the last 2 years and he is an incredible human being and performer. Thanks for giving me a place to share my musical opinions, hope you get the chance to check'em all out if you haven't seen them, you'll be thoroughly entertained!!!

Duje
You all are good are lucky..but when GUNS N' ROSES put back their original lineup......!!!! OH MY GOD!!!! I think NO ONE will reach them...THEY'RE 100% THE BEST!!!! AXL-shake the world again for me!!!!!

Debi I wanted to say that you don't write like any one else and I really like that. You seem to have a gift for getting people to open up and spill. Sort of like a Barbara Walters of rock! In 2000 I just hope you keep covering the same diverse types of bands you have in the past.

Mike
I have liked all of the stories thus far. How about some more stories from rock veterans? Jimmi Page? Aerosmith? Lynyrd Skynyrd? Rush? Some of the bands that helped make rock what it is today? That's what I would like to see.
