Symmetry formed in May of 1996. The original
members were Scott Butler, Matt Kampman, and
Pheonix Andersen. Thier first concert was on August
24, 1996 at Planet HRCA. Thier first original song
was a song that Scott wrote called Wasted. This
has become a classic with local middle school kids.
Pheonix was kicked out of the band in November
1996. From there, the band continued on as a 2 man
band. In February 1997 a lead guitarist was added.
His name was Mike Pierce. He was in the band for a
while but soon quit to start his own band called
Devastation. Scott joined this band for a while but
Mike moved and the band broke up. May 1997
marked the 1 year anniversary of the band and the
band and crew members had a month long
celabration. New songs introduced in 1997 included
New Song, The O and P of Fat(Written by
Devastation before the break-up), Symmetry Inc.,
and Someday. In November 1997, they added Jeff
and Nic to the band. On November 21, 1997, they
performed the grand finale at The Highlands Ranch
High School 1st Annual Battle of the Bands. In
January 1998 Scott and Jeff wrote El Song. On
March 21, 1998, Scott and Matt started working on
this website. In May of 1998, the band hooked up
with producer, Andrew Creese and began to plan for

Matt: Born on July 26, 1984. He likes to design
websites, Listen to Ozzy, play video games, and talk
to cool chicks on the internet. His favorite movie is
Tomorrow Never Dies. His favorite groups are
Savatage and Black Sabbath. Favorite Singer: Ozzy
Osbourne. Favorite Album: The Ozzman Cometh.

People who say theyre in a band but they arent.

Jeff: Born on August 27, 1982. He likes to play the
guitar, and play basketball. His favorite movie is
